Weekly Neuroscience Conference

The Neuroscience Conference is presented from 09.00 – 10.00 each Friday morning from the Carmichael Lecture Theatre at Beaumont Hospital. The conference  includes presentation of clinical cases and guest speakers. Occasionally a guest lecture may be arranged at short notice to facilitate visits by international speakers. Delegates may attend the conference online each week via WebEx, with an In-person attendance option approximately once monthly. On the dates when delegates may attend at Beaumont in person, there will also be an online option also.

The online format has been a most successful initiative and has facilitated participation from neuroscience centres throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland and from the Diaspora.
It is anticipated that consultants and trainees in neuroscience who are based in Dublin hospitals will attend in person at the once monthly in-person meetings. This will present additional benefits,  allowing for further discussion following the meeting in small groups, and in renewing contact and friendships.

Please note also that the regular Friday conference is cancelled on dates when annual neuroscience conferences take place, such as the INA Meeting, the Neurology Update Meeting and the Registrar’s Prize Meeting.
