Rare Diseases lecture series at South Dublin Libraries
The Executive Librarian in South Dublin Libraries has produced a brochure to introduce and publicise a number of online talks which are aimed at individuals with Rare Diseases in Ireland and their families. Speakers and topics include the following:
- “Rare Diseases Ireland – The Background” -Ms. Vicky McGrath.
- “The Diagnostic Journey: a patient’s perspective” – Huntington’s Disease Association of Ireland.
- “The Work of the National Rare Diseases Office” -Ms. Jacqueline Turner.
- “The Diagnostic Journey – A Neurological Point of View” – Prof. Sinead Murphy, Tallaght University Hospital.
