Professor Ralf Gold will deliver a Guest Lecture at the Friday Neuroscience Conference at 09.00 on December 8th.
The title of his lecture will be “Current evidence on early use of high efficacy treatment in RRMS”
Professor Gold is Director and Physician in the Department of Neurology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.
In addition, he is a Professor of Neurology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
He serves as the Medical Advisory Board Chairman of the German Multiple Sclerosis Society (DMSG), as a Council member of the ECTRIMS and as a Task Force member of the EAN. Moreover, he is a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Consensus Group (MSTCG), the German Society for Neurology (DGN) and the International Society of Neuroimmunology (ISNI).
Prof. Gold’s research interests focus on autoimmune attacks, demyelination and axonal loss in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, therapeutic options to improve treatments on neurodegenerative aspects of multiple sclerosis and the development and reorganisation of inflammatory CNS lesions.
