Guest Lecture at Friday Neuroscience Conference, August 27th
Dr. Daniel MacGowan will deliver a guest lecture at the Friday morning Neuroscience Conference on August 27th, The Conference will be hosted online at the Department of Neurology, Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin, and will commence at the slightly earlier time of 08.30
Dr. MacGowan is a Consultant Neurologist at Cornell University Medical Centre, New York. His lecture title will be “Old Fashioned Clinical Neurology”.
Biography
Daniel MacGowan is a 1989 honours medical graduate of UCD. He completed his neurology residency at New York Hospital Cornell University Medical Centre, as chief resident in 1995. His post residency fellowships include stroke at Columbia Presbyterian hospital and EMG/Neuromuscular medicine at Mount Sinai medical center.
He has been the director of the ALS Association Care Centre at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for 20 years. He has published extensively on the topics of ALS, myasthenia gravis and peripheral neuropathy.
