Brain Tumour Ireland Ronnie Fehily Medal
The Second Ronnie Fehily Medal competition will once again take place in October 2024. This competition is held by Brain Tumour Ireland to support research and to honour Ronnie Fehily in whose name Brain Tumour Ireland was founded.
Brain Tumour Ireland wishes to invite postgraduate MSc, MD and PhD students as well as Medical and Surgical Trainees in the Clinical Neuroscience Subspecialties to submit a Lay Abstract describing their brain or spinal tumour research project. It should be designed to inform a ‘non-expert audience’ about their research. The winner will be awarded the Ronnie Fehily medal, and this will be presented to them at our Research Information evening at Trinity College Biomedical Sciences Institute, Pearse Street, Dublin 2, on Wednesday 23rd October 2024. The winner will be asked to present a 10 minute overview of their Research Project. Full details of the award including the closing date (11th October) and how to submit can be obtained here or through the Brain Tumour Ireland website
