Neurology at Tallaght University Hospital
The Neurology department at TUH is a dynamic and expanding unit offering acute and ambulatory care to a catchment population of approximately 400,000 people. As well as providing direct inpatient care and consultation services, the department operates several outpatient clinics weekly encompassing all aspects of General Neurology, as well as specialist services in the fields of Neuromuscular, Neurovascular, Neurodegenerative diseases, Movement Disorders and Headache. The department also provides weekly outreach OPD and ward consult services to Naas General Hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of presentations under consultant supervision, as well as a well-developed teaching schedule with opportunities to participate in audit and research.
