Neuro-ophthalmology at ICO Meeting, 20 – 21 November
Neuro-ophthalmology Training day, Thursday 20th November
Ms Lisa McAnena and Dr Duncan Rogers, Consultant Neuro-ophthalmologists at the Mater Hospital along with Ms Aine Ni Mhealoid, Neuro-ophthalmologist at RVEEH and Dr Christine Bourke, Paeds Neuro-ophthalmologist will present a one-day Neuro-ophthalmology course on Thursday 20th November, 2025 at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
The aim of the afferent neuro-ophthalmology course is to provide trainees with a practical overview of optic nerve disorders. The programme will feature talks from international experts alongside interactive case-based discussions. It is designed to enhance clinical decision-making skills and build confidence in this complex subspecialty.

Neuro-ophthalmology focused session at ICO Winter meeting on Friday November 21st.
The Irish College of Ophthalmologists Winter Meeting will take place on Friday 21st November at the Albert Lecture Theatre, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
The focus of the Winter Meeting will be on Neuro Ophthalmology, and the session will commence at 14.00 concluding at 17.00
Annual Montgomery Lecture
Professor Anthony King will deliver the Montgomery Lecture 2025 in the Albert Hall, RCSI, at 18.00 following the ICO Winter Meeting.
