The Board of Directors of the IICN is the governing body of the organisation. Directors are nominated and elected at the Annual General Meeting of IICN members.
The 2025 AGM took place on November 14th at the Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan, Dublin, prior to the Registrar’s Prize Meeeting. Dr. John McConville, IICN Dean, delivered the Dean’s Report to those in attendance. He provided a summary of IICN activity through the year and thanked all members who directed meetings and who served on the Board of the IICN throughout the previous year. He especially thanked Dr. Lisa Costelloe, Dr. Seán O’Dowd and Dr. Martin O’Donnell who resigned from the Board at the end of their term in office. He welcomed Dr. Yaseen Yacoob and Dr. Maria Gaughan who were proposed and elected to the Board. Nominations were sought for a Clinical Neuroscience Registrar to join the Board of Directors for the coming year.
Meetings of the Board of Directors take place at 6 – 8 week intervals.
