UCL Institute of Neurology, Queen Square London - Neurological Rehabilitation position

Applications are invited for appointment to this Subspecialty Training Placement in Neuro-Rehabilitation on the Specialist Registrar Training Programme in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospital NHS Trust commencing August 2016 for a period of twelve months. 

A National Training Number (NTN) is not available for this appointment. This post is only open to those trainees with an NTN in Neurology or Rehabilitation Medicine.

This one year post is known as the National Treasure Post and is very flexible; it allows sufficient time for an MD or PhD thesis to be written up as well as providing the opportunity to complete small projects leading to publications.

Although the post holder will be based at NHNN a half day a week can be spent in other local units to gain experience in for example spinal injuries at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and the Regional Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at the Homerton. We are more than happy to devise a programme which meets your needs.
