PET 2 and EEG for Paediatricians

The British Paediatric Neurology Association will hold two Paediatric Epilepsy Training Courses in the Hilton Hotel, Belfast on June 25th and 26th 2014
Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) courses provide training for health professional involved in the wide aspects of care for a child or young person with an epilepsy or seizure disorder. These courses have been developed to improve practice within childhood epilepsies and is delivered by means of didactic teaching sessions and small workshops.

PET, Belfast June 25 - 26th 2014

PET2 concentrates on general aspects of the epilepsies (history taking, differential diagnosis, investigation etc) and on epilepsies encountered in younger children. PET3 concentrate on epilepsies presenting in mid childhood, older children and adolescents.

EEG for Paediatricians, Belfast, 25 June 2014

This course has been developed specifically for general paediatricians, to improve the understanding of EEG in day-to-day care of children with epilepsy, especially the interpretation of EEG reports. This is a one-day course and will be delivered by Neurophysiologists and Paediatric Neurologists. The day will consist of didactic teaching sessions and interactive workshops with an emphasis on case based teaching.
