IICN Grants, Awards and Prizes

The Irish Institute of Clinical Neuroscience supports initiatives in education to expand the body of knowledge in neuroscience in Ireland. In conjunction with funding bodies it has offered a number of educational grants including travel grants, publications prizes and educational bursaries.

A number of prizes are awarded each year at the annual Irish Neurological Association Meeting and at the Registrar's Prize in Clinical Neuroscience Meeting

INA meeting prizes - awarded at INA Meeting in May each year.

  • Harold Millar Prize 
  • John Kirker Prize for best Epilepsy presentation
  • Mark Gibson prize for best presentation in Movement Disorder
  • Hugh Staunton Prize for best presentation by an undergraduate or intern
  • Prize for best Neurosurgical presentation
  • Prize for best Poster presentation

Registrar's Prize in Clinical Neuroscience - awarded at Registrar's Prize meeting in November each year.

Prize for best presentation in each of two categories, Original Research and Interesting Case Report.               ‚Äč
